About Our Team and company

SMYB is a courier providing transport and logistics services across the nation and managing international transportation in collaboration with the main players of the transport sector. We specialise in groupage transport and palletised goods as well as in the transport of items of clothing on hangers, and our fleet includes special vehicles designed for the transport of apparel.
Smyb is a specialised supply operator completing the production chain by taking care of any and all aspects linked to the world of logistics and transportation. We can manage the warehouse for you, ensuring goods are stocked, handled, and moved based on your requirements. We also offer a packaging service and we deliver across Italy; guaranteeing punctuality and precision from dispatch to arrival. Our services are intended as (supply chain?) support for both businesses and individual clients.


Smyb in its current iteration is now run by a second-generation, continuing the work started by founder Antonio Gallo in the 1960s. Starting out as an employee of the business, he took over the operation thanks to his excellent skills and performance as commercial manager. It was in the late ’70s, things were decidedly different to today’s world of rapid modernisation and development in the road transport sector, Antonio Gallo built a business which evolved from a traditional transport company to a specialist logistics firm specialising in the transport of goods from the fashion industry. It was in this niche sector that his managerial skills and determination led him to become regional market leader.
During the 1980s the company outgrew its small warehouse in the industrial area of Salerno and needed further branches. Thanks to a dynamic vision and attention to rapid changes in the market, the firm grew rapidly through collaboration with important businesses in the textile and apparel industries. Today, in line with our history, we have further strengthened our performance in the fashion sector and are also offering the same services in other sectors such as automotive, food and beverage, and B2C.
Outwith the region, our transport services are offered through partnership agreements and networks structured specifically for services such as intermodal transport, express services, palletised goods and full loads, allowing us to provide widespread transport services across the whole nation.
Our history means we have a great deal of experience, inherited firstly from our founder and consolidated over decades of continued growth thanks to the trust given to us by important national clients.
We are proud of our roots, of Salerno where we originate. It is from here that we will continue to move forward with the Salerno Moving Your Business project.
